Jon Kourie 

President and CEO of Freedom Baseball
Head Hitting Instructor and Owner of the Yard Sports Academy
Kourie played professional baseball for the Washington Wildthings of the Frontier Baseball League in 2010 and the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League during the 2011 season.
During his two seasons of professional baseball Jon hit over .280 with three home runs and 26 RBI’s, while also walking 22 times for a .365 on-base percentage.
Kourie played for Division 1 Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. During his senior season, he batted .277 with three home runs and 25 RBI’s to help the team to a 25-win season.
Prior to his career with Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Kourie played locally at Briarcliffe College, where was Team Captain and led the conference in batting average, triples and home runs. He was also selected as an All Region player.



Bryan Tatelman

Pitched 4 years at Division 1 Stony Brook University
In his Senior year, he went 4-0 with 3 saves in 37.1 innings, with a 2.98 ERA
Member of the 2012 Stony Brook College World Series Team
Attended Legendary Avon Old Farms Prep School
Three-year letter winner at South Windsor High School
All-conference selection in both his junior and senior years
Hit .487 and led South Windsor to the Class LL State Semifinals as a senior Earned a spot on the 2009 All-Hartford Courant High School Baseball Team


Casey Baker

2016: Led Stony Brook with a .314 batting average with 59 hits and 31 RBI in 51 games…Named second team All-America East…Had 16 multi-hit games, including five three-hit games
2015: Batted .317 with a .487 slugging percentage in 51 games…Earned second team All-America East…Recorded 15 multi-hit games, including nine three-hit games
2014: Hit .338 and recorded a .418 on-base percentage in 42 games…Named first-team freshman All-America by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association…named to America East All-Rookie team
Four year letter winner at Connetquot High School…junior year named All-League, All-County, All-Long Island and All-State 2nd team…led team to a 20-4 record and a Suffolk Championship


Brandon Janofsky

2019: Made 54 starts at second base, hitting .231 on the year … hit first two career home runs, one against Army and the other against Maine. Finished with career-high 20 RBI and five doubles also had .985 fielding percentage, a career best.
2018: Appeared in 54 games with 51 starts
2017:Played in 42 games with 37 starts at 2B. Had 13 multi-hit games with four three-hit games.Earned second team All-America East Conference.
High School: Graduated from Jackson Memorial High School in 2015. Named first team All-State as a Senior


Dylan Stock

Former Pitcher for Division 1 Binghamton Baseball
In 2016 Made 15 appearances in relief. Had three saves and a 5.89 ERA. Struck out 17 in 18.1 innings. Struck out multiple hitters in five appearances
In 2014 Made 14 appearances all in relief. Went 1-0 with 6.75 ERA in 17.1 innings.
Drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 25th round of the 2017 MLB Draft
Played for the West Michigan Whitecaps in the Class A Midwest League



Jack Parenty

Current Professional Baseball Player for the Shaumburg Boomers of the Frontier League
Former infielder/outfielder for Division 1 Stony Brook
2015: Named the America East Conference Player of the Year and earned a spot on the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region team.Batted a conference-best .367 in 52 games with 77 hits, 47 RBI, 38 runs, 13 doubles, seven triples, a pair of home runs and 26 stolen bases.Did not commit an error in 84 total chances during the season.
2014: Named second-team All-America East…finished in the top 10 in the America East in runs scored (37), walks (26), triples (3) and sac bunts (8)…batted .277 with a home run and 22 RBI..was a perfect 10-for-10 in stolen base attempts
2013: In his Freshman Season he was named Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America, America East Rookie of the Year, first-team All-America East and America East All-Rookie
